I found many recipes that might turn out a shortbread like Walker's but I want to make it without added sugar or sugar substitutes (I like the thick-and-crumbly shortbread itself, don't really care for the super-sugary taste). As I have zero baking experience, any tips or pointers on how to get it to be similar? I don't need a recipe, just ideas on what I can replace the sugar with to get the end-product close in texture, consistency, and crumble.
Thanks so much!
