Can I use thin deli slices of mozzarella cheese for pizza?

I'm planning to make pizza this sunday and I'm having troubles finding blocks of low moisture mozzarella to shred at home in my new town. I've used fresh mozzarella in the past but my pizza seems really wet with it. Do you think it would be okay to get thin slices of mozzarella from the deli? Pretty sure it's low moisture whole milk.
