Can I substitute instant polenta with regular polenta in baking?

I'm baking cornbread and the recipe calls for 180g instant polenta (it's the cornbread with cheddar, feta and jalepeno recipe from Ottolenghi's SIMPLE https://www.eatyourbooks.com/library/recipes/2023115/cornbread-with-cheddar-feta-and)

However I checked two groceries stores and all I could find was regular polenta. Is this still fine to use? Do I need to add more liquid, bake it for longer or pre-cook the polenta at all?
