What’s your foolproof way I’ve deciding when a chicken breast is cooked?

Last year I got seriously ill from eating (slightly) underdone chicken. It was four days of agony which I’d rather not go through again. Because of this I make a point to over cook chicken whenever I’m making it, to ensure I won’t get I’ll again.

Can anyone help me out? How Dyou know when to take a chicken breast out of the pan?
