Today I made sweet and sour sauce for the 3rd, I added cornstarch without thinking. I put it in the freezer. I plan on defrosting it in the fridge on the 30th, using half of it to cook with on the 2nd, and the other half for on it on the 3rd. I read somewhere that it could turn into yeast or something. I'm conerned, don't really wanna waste it or eat it if it's bad. Also, could I just leave it in the fridge instead of freezing it? Thanks.
