When letting steak rest... How do you keep it warm?

Whenever I watch a cooking show (and I watch a lot) they always say you should let your steak rest before cutting it so the juices don't flow out... But how do you keep the steak warm? I let mine rest for 5 minutes and it's already unpleasantly cold. Is there a step I am missing?

Thank you so much in advance for all your help! I am trying to be much more active in the kitchen, but this one stumps me every time!
