For the most part, I’ll agree Homemade anything is better than artificial stuff in a tub, but sadly icing just doesn’t fall into that category for me. Every time I’ve had homemade icing, it tasted like thick water or just dry sugar. But if I get Duncan Heinz at the store it’s amazing. I really want to stop using the tub stuff, but I’ve never made (or even tasted) homemade frosting that was actually good. Any advice?
