What did I do wrong with my chicken?

So I bought chicken breast to make a Burrito bowl. I patted it dry, and for seasoning I put everything. I put paprika, cumin, turmeric, black pepper, chili powder, a splash of olive oil, one lemon, and a little chipotle Tabasco sauce. I didn’t think it needed salt because I thought the seasonings had enough sodium.

After poking holes in it with a fork, I cooked it for 18 minutes in the air fryer, at 200c, turning it over half way. It was a little dry, maybe slightly overcooked, but I didn’t really care that much about that.

I cut the first fillet and it looked fine, normal. The second had this purplish tint to it, in some pieces. When I went to eat it, it had this odd metallic taste, even the good fillet. And it’s not raw, if anything it needed less time.

Maybe it needs salt? Idk it’s so bad, it’s dry sure but like the taste is really confusing me. I thought maybe because one of the fillets had a little blood on it, but I’m sure I cut that out before. So idk what happened.

Edit: I’m starting to think the metallic taste is from my mouth because I just ate cabbage from what’s left of my burrito bowl (which has onion, tomato, cabbage, lettuce, and sour cream) and I had the same feeling with the chicken. Is it because of the onion?… I’m so confused. And grossed out. But the chicken still tasted off when I tried it first.
