Hi! I received 10 beef loin New York steaks as a gift and I invited some people over dinner. They are 2" thick cut and I will be using a gas grill (outdoor).
I've only grilled filet mignons (buttered and seasoned) which I do 3 mins each side, then transfer to the top shelf at 425°for 5-7 mins depending on thickness. Those come out medium rare. Is this a similar thing? I usually grill pork, veggies, and fish. Thanks in advance!
