I used an induction hob for the first time today and on a high setting on 7 (out of 9) the water boiled for a few seconds, then went down to a low simmer, then strong boil for a few seconds, then back to a low simmer for a few seconds, like the heat was pulsing on and off? Is this normal or is my pan not compatible?
