Hi all, I very excitedly bought a Dutch oven through a grocery store rebate special. I have never used cast iron in my life.
This one has enamel outside but not inside. I already cooked a tomato based chili in it just now before realizing/remembering that it requires special care.
I'm confused by all the info online and hoping someone can streamline it for me here...
What should I have done before use/can I do that now?
How to I clean and maintain it ongoing?
How do I preheat for stovetop vs oven, or do I need to?
Oh please help! It's such a pretty pot, I want it to be useful too!
