Why do my eggs come out with a big chunk missing every time I boil them?

Every time I make a hard boiled egg it comes out with a big chunk missing when I go to peel them. Why does this happen? I’m just trying to get the perfect hard-boiled egg and instead it comes out with a big chunk missing almost half of the egg gone!
