Hello! Growing up, my mom always made a certain cheesecake that’s unlike any others I’ve ever had. It was very light and custardy rather than thick like NY style cheesecake. It had a crumb crust, but unsure what kind of crumb. I don’t believe it was graham. It was always topped with a thick layer of sweetened sour cream and almond slivers. Last, she always made it in a 9x16 baking dish. She did bake it in the oven before topping with the sour cream. My mom passed 2 years ago and was very ill with dementia for years before her passing. She left no recipe books behind. I’m feeling nostalgic and I’d love to hear ideas on what type of cheesecake this could be! I’m happy to answer any questions that might help us find an answer. Thank you!
