Duck is missing a leg??

Now, I’ve never made duck before, but I know what a bird should look like.

And I did buy two—so I’ve got a twin to use for comparison, as well. I was getting the ducks ready to roast when I realized that one of the ducks is actually missing an entire leg!!

Has anyone seen anything like this? I am laughing but also, annoyed. I have a picture, but apparently can’t attach it to this post.
