They had bushels of jalapeños at the market today! So I will be making a ridiculous amount of candied jalapeños this evening.
Question: I have a big bunch scallions in the kitchen gradually turning into sad things. I’m so seeing if they be a tasty addition to the candied jalapeños.
Has anyone tried it and can tell me their experience?
In case it’s relevant, here’s the rest of the ingredient list: - jalapeños - cider vinegar - white sugar (3 parts sugar per 1 part vinegar) - sweet onion (sliced super thin) - carrot (sliced super thin) - celery seed - mustard seed - turmeric - salt
