LeCreuset dutch oven vs Stainless Steel

I have the opportunity to purchase a used 2 qt Le Creuset dutch oven from facebook for $80. I have been in the market for a 2qt saucepan to replace the one I have now, but I have been looking at All Clad or Made in. I would be using it primarily for boiling water for water, eggs, etc. Would stainless steel be better for what I am looking for? I love my 5.5 qt LC dutch oven and I love buying investment pieces, but I also want to make sure I am making a good purchase.

Thoughts?
