Reverse Engineering Restaurant Style Spicy Hot Pot Soup Base?

I’m trying to recreate a spicy hot pot soup base for my partner (I’ve never actually tried it); she says it’s tasted the same at all szechuan hotpot restaurants we’ve been to in VA, MD, and CO, but pre-made soup bases like little sheep don’t taste right according to her. In her own words, the spicy soup base just tastes like a spicier version of a pork bone broth, she never tastes anything strong other than the heat. From the photo below and my experience going to hot pot with her, I’m assuming that the spicy hot pot soup base is just some sort of chili oil that they add to a pork bone base. Does anyone have any insight?
