Accidentally froze some potatoes, anyway to salvage before defrosting them?

Hey my roommate mistook my request and put my bag of potatoes in the freezer. I know they turn into a mushy grey mess when defrosted. is there anyway to prepare them while semi frozen to make them half way decent?
