I made a 3 bone forerib of beef (think it’s also called a prime rib roast) and it had a weird taste to it. Thought it was because it was too pink but on second thought I don’t think it was the cooking to be honest. I feel the beef itself had a weird taste and I want to say it tasted gamey. Like that off putting taste that you get with lamb. What can be done to resolve this next time?
