Several online services will send you pre-cooked food to microwave later. They claim their food can last for seven+ days. It isn't frozen or vacuum packed. They say it doesn't contain preservatives. How?!

I habitually cook for myself every Sunday but almost everything I make lasts until Thursday maximum. How can online subscription services do it better than me?
