I’ve never cooked with hot peppers before. I’m cooking for some friends tonight and am going to stuff peppers with ground turkey, onion, rice, and cheese and then bake them. I want to incorporate habanero and Serrano peppers which I bought at the store because they were cheap and it seemed fun and I love spicy food.
Can I just slice the peppers into small pieces and mix them in with the meat and rice and onion before baking? Or is there a better way to add the peppers to this dish?
