Thai Basil

I have a f*ck load. It smells wonderful!- a lot like fennel? I’m surprised at the smell; I thought that thai basil was more funky, like fish sauce funky, but maybe that’s just what I have associated it with. Is the fennel smell normal? If it is, I ain’t letting it go to waste- I’ll make a few storable things, but I ask because I don’t like surprises. I won’t let it go to waste anyway, just asking before I make plans for this massive amount.
