when making homemade pasta sauce, will a can of fire-roasted tomatoes drastically alter the flavor profile?

Usually, I buy ready-made sauce in a jar. But, I've run out, and since going to the store for just one thing seems silly, I thought I could try to make my own. I have all the ingredients needed, but I checked the can of tomatoes, and they're fire-roasted. Will that negatively change the flavor profile of a chicken parmesan dish?
