First time seasoning carbon steel wok and I burned the oil! Help please!

Hello!

I purchased a carbon steel wok from Sur La Table (https://www.surlatable.com/profession-carbon-steel-wok-14in/PRO-1408186.html) and I followed the instructions in first time cleaning and seasoning. However, when I added two tablespoons of avocado oil (rubbed it around with a paper towel), put my electric stove on medium and let it sit for 10 minutes (as per instructions) I came back to it all burnt at the bottom. I tried to scrap it off using dawn dish soap and boiling water, but to no avail. It currently looks like this:

Is it salvageable? Is it possible I didn't get all the lacquer off?
