Substitution for dried chipotle pepper?

Hello, I'm planning to make this:

The problem is that I don't have any dried chipotle chillies, and I live in a country where they aren't widely available so they'll be expensive with a long delivery time. Would dried Asian-style (think Szechuan/Korean) chillies, plus smoked paprika be a good substitution? I'm ok with not being completely authentic as long as it's still delicious.
