For a Hot Pot dinner, do you have to use a stainless steel pot? Or would a Dutch Oven work just as well?
I am getting supplies to start having hot pot dinners at home. I got my gas burner but need to get a pot. All the hot pot dinners I've been to use stainless steel, usually split down the middle for different broths. However, I have a great cast iron Dutch Oven from Le Creuset that I wanted to use instead of buying something else. Does it really matter? If it does are there any quality Stainless Steel pots I could use for these kinds of dinners?
