Leader was one of the first champions of artisanal bread baking in the United State and founded Bread Alone Bakery in New York's Hudson Valley in the early 1980s. He has published five books including "Bread Alone” and “ Local Breads", which won awards from the International Association of Culinary Professionals. His new cookbook, LIVING BREAD is just out.
National Bread Month is November so let’s get you baking bread! Ask him anything about making bread, dough, starters, the best flours to use, milling, wheat, organic vs non-organic breads, fermentation or the bread business! Whether you're experienced or a first time bread baker, he is happy to help and answer your questions.
