Substitution for Glucose in candy making

Is it possible to substitute corn syrup for glucose syrup in a recipe for gummy bears (ChefSteps) I have made it as written and its wonderful but if I can remove one of the specialty ingredients it would make my life a lot easier. I know corn syrup inst pure glucose and contains fructose as well and as such could make a difference to the process. If its just a matter of tweaking the recipe such as adding more gelatin to keep them firm enough that's not a problem at all but some guidance would be appreciated.
