Boneless Country Style Ribs for Carnitas?

I made this fantastic carnitas recipe by J. Kenji Lopez-Alt last week (https://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2010/07/no-waste-tacos-de-carnitas-with-salsa-verde-recipe.html) using boneless pork shoulder, as the recipe asks for, and it came out amazingly. I'm going to be cooking for large group this weekend, and was planning to get some of the meats from Costco to save a bit of money. I was wondering if these boneless country style ribs (https://imgur.com/zNOHFoy) from there would yield the same/similar results if I subbed the boneless pork shoulder in the recipe for them.
